Our co-founder, Larnell K. Davis, Sr., passed away in December 2016 from liver cancer. He developed Hep C about 30 years ago, which led to his cirrhosis, and ultimately his cancer. I do not feel we were educated enough about the damage the Hep C had on his body, nor how the cirrhosis made his recovery from the cancer impossible. For this reason, I decided to honor his memory by establishing the L. K. Davis Liver Disease Awareness Association, to help educate the public about liver health.
